Featured Online Store: Nasty Gal!
I was on Tumblr a bit earlier today, and I spotted a look that I absolutely loved. Naturally, I Google-Imaged it immediately, and I came up on Nasty Gal's website. I've seen and heard of it before, but have never paid it much attention until now.
I'm going on a month-long trip to the Hawai'i Islands with my family this August. We're visiting Maui and Oahu islands along with The Big Island. I started to look through the Nasty Gal website, and all I could think was "perfect for Hawaii!" over and over again. So, I'm going to show you some of my favorite 'summery' looks. Check them out!
1. Lace Peplum Dress
- This is the photo I found on Tumblr. I immediately fell in love with the white lace dress and the peplum detail. The accessories only upped the outfit, the brown handbag perfect with the cheetah print belt and gold bangles. The John Lennon style sunglasses are really in style right now, and I myself am going to pick up a pair as soon as possible. This dress would be perfect for a lunch out with friends, or in my case, a day of shopping at Queen Kaahumanu Mall or a fancy restaurant dinner. Find the dress here!
2. Twisted Peplum Dress
- Another favorite! I love the light rose color. The cheetah print belt from the last look would also be perfect with this, although I'd probably pair the dress with a dark bag. I really want this dress, and I've e-mailed Nasty Gal to inform me when they stock up on my size. Find the dress here!
3. Safari Romper
- I really love this. This would be perfect for a walk around the cities of Honolulu or Hilo, and when I get home... perfect for a shopping trip or even school. I would pair this with the black belt and black flip flops or sandals. Find the romper here!
4. Mad Mesh Romper
- And last, but definitely not least, this romper. I found it so cute, with the cuffed bottoms, pockets, and mesh shoulders. This is also being added to my 'want' list, and I plan on buying it soon. I am in love. Anyways, this is great for a day in the city or just a time with the girls. Find this romper here!
Most of these consisted of darker colors and dresses, not exactly for the beach, but more for the days when you want to shop or visit a mall/boutique, or even hang out with friends. I hope you guys enjoyed!

Spring on Lookbook.nu
I remember the first time I stumbled upon Lookbook.nu. Well, actually, my sister did. But that doesn't really matter. We were both pretty excited, not knowing much about fashion or style, and we instantly fell in love with the beautiful faces wearing gorgeous clothes. Ever since then, I've checked up on Lookbook frequently, building up my favorites. This morning I was looking through the website, and I found a couple of outfits which I found very Spring appropriate.
I've decided to post some of my favorites. Some of the girls are very well known, others are not as big, but still have wonderful style. Here we go (They are in no particular order)!
1. Juliett Kuczynska: Everything she is wearing is from Mango. I really like this outfit, I can picture myself strolling down 3rd Street Promendade in Santa Monica wearing this. It's very laid back and just perfect for the Spring season. The stone-washed jean jacket is a perfect addition to the mainly-white outfit, adding a pop to the outfit. The accessories are perfect, contrasting the simplicity of the white she is wearing. Juliett has always been a favorite. You can find her blog here.
2. Jessica Stein: I am really loving turquoises and corals for Spring, so this instantly jumped out at me. Asymmetrical and high-low skirts are definitely one of my favorites this spring. This particular one is found at Asos, here. I absolutely fell in love with the scalloped turquoise shirt from Topshop. The accessories in shoes only add to the outfit, giving the all turquoise outfit leather (always in) and glittery accents. You can find her blog here.
3. Camille Co: I love her. I just found her lookbook for the first time, and I enjoy every one of her looks. The blue shirt is perfect with the violet, white, and blue flored shorts. I usually feel like the floraled short has been out-played, but Camille plays it perfectly in a refreshing manner. The brown leather accents will forever be a favorite of mine, especially for the Spring season. Find her blog here.
4. Crris: She is definitely a new favorite of mine. She pieced this together perfectly, using yellows, whites, different shades of pink, and an army green to get the full effect of Spring. The green trench is from Zara, which adds a pop of dark to offset the light colors. The light lace skirt is also from Zara. This is a very cute look which epitomizes the essence of Spring: fun and light. Find her blog here!
These were the four that I decided to feature. I hope you guys enjoyed this post, and gained inspiration (I sure did)! Comment, follow, or just give me feedback! Thanks for reading!

Louis Vuitton Fall 2012 RTW - Magnifique!
I know I'm a bit late on this, but I must share my personal favorites from the LV Fall 2012 RTW. I happened to watch the show last night, and although I knew it was nearly a month late, I had to share my favorites.
This line was truly magnificent, it really gave a sense of the style and culture of the train age. The models all sported feathered hats which were really something else. The array of coats, layers, and shoes which the models wore all paid tribute to the genius which is the house of Louis Vuitton.
The over-the-top feathered hats really pay tribute to the big-buttoned coats. The materials vary, from the tan softness with seemingly lavender buttons to the chocolate brown which the model to the right wears well over a checkered dress.
The pink jacket's large lapels really give a strong impression, their silver buckles give a strong sense of luxury to an otherwise plain outfit. The grey coat with the low-v is a great alternative to a women's coat, adding a more fashionable taste to the normal coat which often graces the shoulders of most women today.
And last but not least , the shoes. They were really something else, their array in color in texture of the main shoes really contributed to each outfit. These are two of my favorites. The numerous textures on the left shoe really are unique, as is the Oxford-style of the one on the right.
All in all, the Louis Vuitton Fall 2012 Ready-to-wear was truly magnificent. That is all I have to say on the matter, and I can't wait to see what they bring out next.

Some of my favorite pieces of the line, the green snakeskin bag and the fur-like one. They provided a sense of "old-school" train times, with the porters carrying them alongside their model.

A Beginning
I'm a sixteen year old with absolutely no sense of direction. What I really mean by that is that I do not know what I want to do with my life. I apply to universities next fall, and I just cannot make up my mind. What am I going to do with my life. I've gone from medicine to business to hitchhiker, in that order.
But frankly, I am sixteen. I have time to mess up and learn from my mistakes.
I love to blog, I have had numerous blogs (most of my Blogspots I've forgotten the passwords to), Tumblr is my prime choice. But for some reason, I always end up making a new blogspot. We'll see how this goes.
Along with my love for blogging, I also have a love for fashion. Not only that, but for travel as well. I'm an adventurous, free-spirited girl who has a knack for writing and a passion for knowledge. I'm eager to learn, to experience, and to swallow up anything anyone gives me... as long as it's sensible, of course.
So here I go, embarking on yet another blogging adventure.
I think I'm going to focus this on personal style, fashion, delectable goodies, and anything else I like.
I'm looking forward to posting again soon!
